Fighting Youth Unemployment and Social Exclusion

The aim of the project is to organize an international seminar which will allow exchange of information and transfer of know-how on the issues of youth unemployment and social inclusion among the participants, support exchange of innovative ideas and best practices and generate development of new ideas and projects. It will gather partners from Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Turkey and Slovakia. The seminar will include 30 participants from these countries and also representatives of Slovak organizations who will present their work, activities, experiences and best practices. Objectives of the seminar are: - To exchange information about the youth unemployment in participating countries; EU strategies and national policies to tackle unemployment, - To discuss correlations between unemployment and social exclusion, methods and tools of working with youth in the risk of exclusion, - To explore the possibilities of international mobility and non-formal education activities open to young people from the countries of Eastern Partnership and candidate countries (including ERASMUS+ programme), which can contribute to employability, developing and strengthening skills required on the labour market and sense of initiative and entrepreneurship, - To review best practices in combating unemployment in the context of development new initiatives in local communities of the partner organization - To create a pool of project ideas, resources, contacts and new partnerships towards new projects and future collaboration.
