Fédérer la Mobilité pour Fonder la Formation du Futur
Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: May 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

This project has risen at a key moment in the history of our Académie.( regional education authority) Lower Normandy, an international region since the landing in 1944, but also a rural land with small and scattered schools , where economy is struggling to develop, will soon join Upper Normandy to take a new dimension. Year 2015 also marks the entry into a new academic project, a priority of which being openmindedness for greater ambition of pupils. In this context, the Academie has to offer vocational schools: - A possibility for any learner or educational actor who wishes to carry out a training period in a European company or an training institution , whatever the circumstances of his/her school (geographical location, composition of its classes, its educational team, etc ..) - A training that is part of an academic coherence, visible and recognized and whose quality is constantly improving These two goals will only be achieved if a single academic organization provides strong support in a logistical and educational structure to educational actors . This is the goal of this project "Federating Mobility to Establish Training of the Future" It was therefore essential to bring together the expertise of actors from the regional education authority : GIP -FCIP for monitoring financial and administrative management, DAREIC for teaching international openness, college of inspectors ET- EG for professional relevance. These three entities will form the Steering Committee and support the member schools of the consortium. The six schools and the trainers group apply for 32 adults mobility and 83 pupils mobilities. These requests cover all professional fields: the industrial field, including crafts industry and applied sciences and biology, and the tertiary field, including hotel trade and catering . This is an ideal panel for a first project that will be the basis for the construction of an academic structure with an innovative tool: a collaborative digital workspace for vocational training in high schools. As pupils and educational stakeholders go along their mobility experiences, they'll share: - Internal procedures of preparation of information chosen by the different groups (no mobility is individually designed) - Professional and educational knowledge gained, and recognition pattern used - Names and descriptives of the host structures to build a multi-entries directory (depending on training needs, countries ...) These multiple data will be managed by the Academic Steering Committee with the essential support of the Digital Technology Delegate of the Académie (DAN) to build the digital workspace. These data will be analyzed and followed up by inspectors and DAREIC together. Protocols will result, which will aim at facilitating international mobility for all. At the end of the first year, the digital workspace will be open to host partners who will also be able to follow up any situations that will interest them, and use its data to send in turn their learners in work placement in our Académie. Similarly, the tool will be open to all vocational schools of the Académie. The idea is not for all of them to join this academic grouped project (the priority of that project is to help small and less experienced schools) , but for each school, according to its context and previous experience, to give rise to new projects, designed either by vocational field or geographical location (teaching pool), or host countries.... The academic structure that the project will build intends to be an upgradeable regional tool to which any international mobility project stakeholder can refer and add through sharing of experiences,. This will achieve regional coherence of European mobility of vocational schools and regional promotion along its quality improvement. In addition to the achievements in autonomy, open-mindedness and skills, yet considerable, that all training periods in another European country will be for young people and adults, this project has the ambition of a much longer-term impact, since the strategy of its steering committee and its digital workspace are destined to be shared and become an inspiration to other regional structures.
