(Machbarkeitsstudie Ausbau E 233)
The E 233 is a so called Europa-Straße, that means a way of European importance. It is an important link between the Eastern and the Western part of the Ems Dollart Region. It is however led about a major road, which is not the common standard for an Europa-Straße. Within this project research will be done whether it is possible to realize the missing link for the Transeuropean Network (TEN). The normal way of financing the road out of public funds would have a realization not earlier than 2020 as a result, so maybe private financing would be a way of an earlier realization of the road.
