The “Falcon Learnival 2015” in Israel and Palestine is an youth exchange project for 30 young people from Israel, Palestine and Austria. As Israel is under continuous media attention for the last decades this is the chance to get to know the region and especially get to know young people from the Middle East. For the young people from Israel and Palestine it is the chance to know people from the outside and getting other living realities for comparison. Content-wise the youth exchange is aimed to share about problems of the current generations that they have in common. Especially the problem of racism/group-focused enmity and a lack of perspective are big issues that are dominant in the live of young people. In the framework of the "Falcon Learnival 2015" they have the possibility to discuss, analyze, understand and look for strategies how to deal with it. Part of this youth exchange is of course as well the classical part of meeting people in an international, intercultural and antiracist space that is created. By getting to know people from quite different cultures young people will improve their tolerant approach to people and actually live a bit of practical antiracism. The project is aimed on having a multiplying effect to spread knowledge about the conflict and general peace education. To achieve this there will be a couple of follow up workshops and activities as well as a brochure about the project.
