The project is a youth exchange, which will be attended by young people from Finland, Malta, Poland and Italy. 24 participants
aged from 18 to 25 will encounter in the region of Podlasie to, during the time space of 9 days, through a variety of activities,
discuss the problems of contemporary Europe. The main focus of the project will be on counteracting discrimination and on the
education through sport and outdoor activities. During the project, the participants will discuss the problem of discrimination
(mainly discrimination in sport), later to learn about the methods of fighting against it. The knowledge and skills gained
throughout the discussion they will then use during the artistic workshops on discrimination. Main activities are going to be
enriched by/ diversified with sports. A mini-tournament with the local community will be held to summarize the exchange. The
participants of Etnoliga are also going to be involved in this mini tournament. The aim of this undertaking is to gain knowledge
on the mechanisms and manifestations of discrimination and learn how to counter it. Participants will study how to respond to
situations of discrimination, they will learn to plan activities aiming at developing anti-discriminatory attitudes and will develop
sense of sensitivity, empathy, responsibility and activity.
To broaden visibility of the exchange and multiply the effects of the project there will be promotional materials such as
bookmarks with mottos and t-shirts with logo. The materials will be distributed during mini tournament and in each local
community of partner organisations.
