The youth information centre aha - Tipps & Infos für junge Leute, together with the other Austrian youth information centres organised a seminar on the topic of "Empowerment by youth information", taking up one of the topics of the current Trio Presidency. The seminar objectives were to provide participants with a theoretical background on the topic of empowerment and its individual, relational and collective aspects, as well as to allow them to get to know examples of methods and projects on the theme which have been put into practice by European colleagues working in the field of youth information. The seminar was an opportunity to reflect one's own work with regard to empowerment and to exchange experience with European colleagues. The participants found a common understanding and agreed on an ongoing exchange of good practice. In spring 2016 a publication "Empowerment by youth information" will be published. The seminar "Empowerment by youth information" took place from 31 August to 2 September 2015 in Salzburg. 11 colleagues from the youth information field from Liechtenstein, Spain and Austria took part.
