Youth services of Suomussalmi coordinated and host this individual EVS project. The sending organisation was Europahaus -Aurich from Germany. Participant was 1 and EVS period is 6 months. The topic was support youngsters in growing and independenxe and support youngers which fewer opportunities.The volunteer worked in schools, youth house and freetime clubs. Volunteer take part of free-time event planning and execution.The learning methods was learning by doing, participative doing and individual guidance.The volunteer learn finnish language skills and nordic culture. The project support volunteer independence and social skills.Hosting and sending organizations learn new methods how the support better youngsters which fewer opportunities.
