EVS with CRIJ Champagne-Ardenne 2015

“EVS with CRIJ Chamapgne-Ardenne” aims to be a project of local development and a project of non-formal and intercultural education. Their main objectives are to confirm and develop the local and European partnerships of the CRIJ in the fields of European mobility and non-formal Education. In particular it represents 5 programs of long-term (10 to 12 months) voluntary service for young people in order to develop their competencies. That will enable 5 youngsters to support people suffering of a handicap in two different non-profit organization (Foyer la Baraudelle and MAS Marc Toussaint) or to support the information of young on a peer-to-peer method. They will take part in workshops aiming to develop autonomy and capacities of disabled people through leisure activities. They will contribute to their social integration by facilitating their participation in community life. These youngsters will develop their educative and professional skills as well as their human qualities that can help them in the future. The volunteer hosted in CRIJ will take part in activities aiming to support youngsters in their projects by providing them concrete information, and therefore he will improve skills in the communication field. Another objective of this project is to give a positive look of Europe, his youth and European policies. Experiences of the youngsters will be valorized in different ways: multimedia supports, information campaign, documentary, testimony… It is expected that the results and their valorization enable to develop European awareness in the region as well as concrete exchanges: more mobility experiences for more openness.
