We were looking for youth with a hip hop or break-dance background. As we wanted to make our dance environment stronger, it was an advance if volunteer had experience in running dance classes and that he/she speak good English, are outgoing, creative and able to create your own tasks. So, we get what we wanted. He had not experience in running dance classes, but he had basic Dance-hiphop knowledge. And lot of other qualities, too! Number of volunteers hosted: 1 Duration: 6 months - from January to June. The volunteer worked closely with our event coordinator. The volunteer also were in charge of starting up different workshops within different breakdance and hip-hop styles. A typical working week were to running workshops, promoting the possibilities in hip-hop/ breakdance at the Youth Centre, working and planning different events, blogging, social media and so on. The volunteer was working partly afternoons/evenings, depends on the Centre activities.
