EVS Passport to Europe is a project that seeks to involve 8 European Volunteers in culture, sports and youth activities carried by the city of A Coruña, which will be the hosting organisation, while Ingalicia will be the Coordinating Organisation. The City of A Coruña will receive 4 volunteers for 6 months from January 2014 to July 2014 and other 4 volunteers for 6 months from September 2014 to March 2015.
Volunteers will participate in the organization of cultural activities (bookrossing, lectures, workshops, cycles cinemas, festivals, etc.) in the organization of sport activities and events, in the management of youth information center, in organizing and dissemination of the Erasmus+ program in schools and youth organizations of A Coruña.
Participants can be young people between 17 and 30 years from Denmark, France, Germany and Italy with motivation and positive attitude to carry out activities which play a leading role.
Ingalicia will be the coordinator organization, and it will manage and organize the preparatory activities, the logistical activities (travel, accommodation, insurance ...), monitoring of the SVE, evaluation and dissemination of results. The City of A Coruña will provide a tutor for volunteers and will take care of the implementation of the activities and facilitate the integration of volunteers. Sending Partners will be responsible for selecting volunteers, facilitate a pre departure preparation and communicate with our organization and volunteers periodically.
The project aims to improve the quality of the activities offered the City of A Coruña, foster a sense of European citizenship among young people, provide opportunities for non-formal and informal learning in an international context and to encourage youth participation in the actions promoted by Erasmus + program
