The EVS India -Sharing knowledge will contribute to the local development of communities and innovative projects both in France and in India. The project will encourage the participation of young people and the intercultural dialogue among young people from totally different cultures and backgrounds. Through the different activities that will be implemented we hope to produce a culture of tolerance and comprehension and at the same to enhance diversity. The volunteers will participate in activities during 12 months.Through their involvement and their work the volunteers will gain a better understanding of the others and of themselves, will develop their comprehension of the world and their own qualities.The project will also allow a better cooperation between north and south (in this case France and India) and will be a privileged place where best practices and non-formal education methods from both partners (Solidarités Jeunesses and FSL India) will be shared and used.
