Volunteering project “EVS for Society” will be located in Vecumnieki region schools. The project includes topics about youth leisure time diversity involving music and cultural activities. It will be good opportunity for young people with limited abilities to express themselves. Youngsters often find it difficult to sort time and financial resources for Music and Art School or Sport School located only in center of the region. The aim of the project is to diverse children and young adult leisure time by involving them in cultural activities with music, drama and stage art. Sending organizations are NGO's from Germany and Ukreine. Duration of the project is 12 months. Latvia is represented by Zemgales NGO center. It will be three as the coordinator and host organization. Participants will be 3 volunteers, their tasks will be to lead and organize language interest groups, music and sport interest groups as well as learn new skills. The main long-term benefit will be to activate and motivate local youth as well us involving schools in mutual cooperation and non-formal education activities.
