EVS experience @ Loimaa -project is a 24 months project where altogether 4 volunteers from Austria and France will live and work for maximum 10-12 months at Loimaa, Finland. During their stay at Loimaa, the volunteer will work in youth work and in the theatre. They participate both the everyday routines of the organisations and also their various different projects. They can work for example in youth houses, clubs and camps. The volunteers will also tour the schools and other municipalities to present their own country and culture and to promote the Erasmus+ -programme and the EVS periods. At the theatre there are many types of tasks, too - co-facilitating, costumes, set design, props, sound, music, light etc. In the network there are also other possibilities in associations working with young people. Volunteers should be 18 years old. They can apply by contacting our partners or directly by e-mail: evs@loimaa.fi and send their CV and motivation letter. They need to be interested in working with young people. They need to prepare for the Finnish winter and darkness. We offer the volunteers a shared 3 room flat, bicykle, a Finnish language course. Loimaa is a peaceful environment at the Finnish countriside, with good public transportation connections to Turku, Tampere and Helsinki. We offer the Youth Pass certificate to the volunteers.
