We are a school with a sixty-year tradition. We are engaged in sports, music, and in the last three years, we focus on international cooperation. That is how we improve language learning, cultural and also historical awareness of pupils. The quality we provide value pupils, their parents and the school's founder, who participates with us in many events, even project days. We can also boast of obtained e - twinning quality labels at national and European level. We have been working on a Comenius project with six other European countries. Therefore, it is important for us that our teachers can teach and communicate in foreign languages. We try to involve lessons of training using new technologies. We use e - twinning platform for students and teacher’s communication in the project and disseminate the results of our work. In this two-year project, we would like to increase language skills of our teachers and also the leadership. We intend to send abroad two first grade teachers who will be trained in CLIL method in the English language, the project coordinator to improve in English and Spanish , the school management to increase language skills in English. In addition, 2 teachers will be send for their studies to increase language competences in German and French. Individual course participants will be selected on the basis of active cooperation in the planning and implementation of educational projects, active participation in school and extracurricular activities. We expect great motivation for further education and we will also take into account previous excellent educational outcomes . During the preparatory period, teachers will actively participate in self-education, the creation of a professional portfolio, which consists of a literature study , observations with their language colleagues and the study of materials , which the school will provide participants . Our school will offer the participants Pre-preparation courses organized before they will be sent to a language school abroad. Language schools will be selected on the basis of international awards, membership in international organizations and excellent reputation, reflecting the quality of education provided . After finishing the course , the participants will be involved in the dissemination of the knowledge among their colleagues and the wider community (outputs on the school website , in the local press and media, as a part of the project days working with parents , etc.). They will also participate in the work in an international environment through e - twinning and the cooperation with partners in the Comenius project . Our school is a learning organization that will become part of the European quality learning environment .
