EVolutionS- Ensuring Quality in EVS

This training aims to create an inspirational learning space for exchange of experience and good practice. Its main aims is to support organizations in developing a trust-able network for future cooperation's in the field of European Voluntary Services and to support quality of EVS projects through supporting EVS coordinators and mentors.Bringing together organizations from different European Countries not only we create strong partnerships but also we ensure sustainable knowledge that can pass to other organizations among the countries and make even more EVS projects more efficient. With the project we would like to improve the quality of EVS projects and ensure the bigger impact the projects can have. Countries in those projects are from The Netherlands, Greece, U.K., Italy, Croatia, Romania, Portugal, Latvia, Poland, Turkey, Spain and Ireland.To achieve the improvements of the EVS experience for all parties and in working towards sustainable results, EVoluntionS - Ensuring Quality in EVS projects, has been divided into two distinct stages. It is envisaged that these two stages will support both the organisation and the individuals in their practical implementation of competences gained.- Contact Making Seminar for EVS Coordinators and Supervisors ( 8th till 12th September 2016, excluded travel days)- Training Course for Mentors ( 26th till 30th November 2016, excluded travel days)EVolutionS - "Ensuring Quality in EVS projects" will gather in total 50 youth workers, (26 coordinators and supervisors in EVS and 26 Mentors ), 2 qualified trainers from Greece and UK and 4 staff members. All together will have the chance to build a strong network and to ensure quality in EVS projects.The specific objectives of the EVolutionS - project as a whole are:-To provide a meeting point for organisations and an inspiring environment for EVS coordinators to exchange information, to share good practice, inspiration and motivation and to establish new international partnerships-To bring together support EVS actors (coordinators, supervisors and mentors) of organisations and provide space for cooperation.-To understand the concept and framework of EVS-To raise awareness of the learning dimension in EVS and provide tools for learning support-To practice tools and skills for the success of EVS in terms of personal and human support for the EVS volunteers such as leading, mentoring, coaching.-To create new EVS projects within the partner organisations and to exchange volunteer opportunities.-To improve capacity of practical realization of EVS projects in the frames of Erasmus+ and to provide up-to-date information about the Erasmus+The planned activities and working methods have been selected according to the principles of non formal learning. Therefore they are highly participative, cooperative and rather self reflective. Several learning opportunities have been predicted and designed and surely incalculable others will occur through interaction, co-existence and cooperation. We will try to make sure that the participants will be able to express their opinions and themselves through activities that are varied and interactive and will rely upon the abilities and strengths of the participants.We plan activities for enhancing the process of NFL. All activities will be targeted. That means all activities will be organized and structured according to our objectives. Moreover we will focus on the participants' motivation and interest during the training period. As soon as the project will be approved by the NA we will search and ask for the participants' learning and practical experiences and needs for self-improvement and so we will plan our daily agenda of NFL accordingly.
