Responding to an ever-increasing European Union (EU) and a need for EU citizens to both understand and employ the concepts involved in sustainable development, the euSDET project aimed at better informing EU citizens on the key challenges for sustainable development. To achieve this, partners worked together to develop, test and deliver a course for adult educators on the theme of sustainable development. An eventual 5-day training course was developed providing a background to the theme, case studies and pedagogic approaches for adult trainers, all of which remain freely accessible via the euSDET project website.
