Zespół Szkół Technicznych in Cieszyn has had experience in vocational training of young people. It educates technicians of electrics, mechanics, mechatronics and technicians of appliances and systems of renewable energy. These are specializations employ and integrate knowledge on rapidly developing modern technology. The project`s partners are Euromind anda Complex of Schools SAFA Ntra. Sra. De los Reyes from Sevilla and Los Salesianos Santisima Trinidad which are going to enable Polish students participating in 2-week training being correlated with professional qualifications (EQF). The apprenticeship will be held in January 2015. Thirty six third class students of a technical secondary school and four teachers are going to take part in the project. The students will be chosen as a result of a recruitment process. The substantial project`s goal is to gain additional professional experience and skills as well as learning about new technological solutions taking into consideration renewable energy technology. Participation in the project is supposed to increase students chances on the Polish and European labour market and prevent unemployment among young people in Poland. The project is aiming at helping students be more open on foreign culture and boosting an overall European integration. Thanks to the increase of motivation towards learning the project effects will prevent dropping of a school. An extra advantage would be improving students` foreign languages and interpersonal competences. The school will ensure the students a cultural, language and pedagogic preparation and they will be provided with an adequate logistical and organizational support. The students will be divided into two groups where the first will acquire a skill of graphic introduction of the parts and tracks of a tool conducting with an Autocad programme, programming and simulation of lathes steered by Winunisoftm and as a result generating a material processing by the usage of a CNC milling-machine. The second group will consist of electricians and technicians of appliances and systems of renewable energy. They are supposed to accomplish a project of building an energetically self-sufficient house. They will make its model and assembly of a small solar power plant and a solar lantern with a dusk switch off. The students are expected to accomplish a montage of an electrical installation inside a building and a montage with an estimate cost of a photovoltaic installation. The project results will be disseminated among the school community, junior high school students, employers, cooperative institutions and foreign partner schools (Ukraine). There will be an educational film made documenting the apprenticeship and numerous presentations will be shown during conferences and workshops with the youth of our region. The project will allow our school to raise the quality of education and promote it in the local environment. A project budget has been elaborated taking into account the following cost: travelling, individual support of the participants, language support and any additional cost. To sum up the project there will be conducted a thorough evaluation and cost accounting.
