Project entitled “Europejskie praktyki na plus dla Zespołu Szkół nr 25 we Wrocławiu" provides for organising mobility for 40 students of ZS nr 25 in Wrocław. Participants of the project will be grouped according to professions they are preparing for:
10 students learning in the profession of "photography technician",
10 students learning in the profession of "technician of digital graphic processes",
10 students learning in the profession of "advertising specialist",
10 students learning in the profession of “chemical analyst”.
Under the proposed project, our students will undergo 4 week-long professional internships in companies located in Bologna, Italy. The main objective of the project is to provide the students with an opportunity to gain initial professional experience, increase their mobility, professional competence, as well as intercultural and linguistic competence. Current labour market requires students to possess both sound theoretical knowledge and strictly practical skills. Not only that, employers expect noticeable experience in a given field, while young people who enter the labour market have difficulties with finding appropriate opportunities for high-quality internships, apprenticeships etc. in prestigious, well developed companies. The field of graphics and advertising is highly competitive and demanding. Employees have to follow new trends, tools and methods - hence the need for continuous learning, self-development and maintaining enthusiastic attitude toward the job. The project proposed here constitutes an excellent opportunity to imbue our students with understanding of the need for lifelong learning. The mobility will be preceded by training courses designed to prepare participants and maximize the educational benefits of the mobility itself. Intercultural training will equip students to deal with all the difficulties they may encounter when arriving, living and working in a foreign country. The project provides for four separate groups, ten students each. The first group will travel to Italy in October / November 2015, while the other groups will go there in November / December 2015, April and May 2016 respectively. Students will be placed in companies operating in Bologna and its surrounding areas.
