Środkowopomorskie Wodne Ochotnicze Pogotowie Ratunkowe w Koszalinie has prepared a mobility eachange programme for its members, that develops thieir skills and competences within daily lifeguarding activities. Throughout the implementation of a preparatory programme that wil prepare project' participants to the better participation in project' activities, they will develop new skills and competences within first aid, organisation of mass events near water areas. Those skills will be later enhanced during planned exchanges together with the development of skills and competences within usage of the motor vehicles and tools for proper services offered t the sunbathers.
Project is directed to 21 lifeguards - members of the ŚWOPR that are working in the summer season on West Pomerania beaches and water areas. Project results are aimed at developing new skills and competences connected to the lifeguarding both in the field of first aid, organising motor translport and additional services on the beaches and water areas as well as organising mass water events with adequate safety.
Implementation of the project will allow to enhance skills and competences posessed by lifeguards - members of the promoting organisation, getting to know new methods and techniques of lifeguarding training, initiate closer collaboration with the similar associations and organisations in Europe and adapt their experiences and best practices to West Pomerania region, so the tourists could feel more safe when holidaying near water areas.
