FINISHED
This project arises from the development of collaborative actions with the countries of Italy and Portugal during the course 2013/2014, in the framework of a KA1 project, and serves as the basis for implementing innovative forestry methodologies for both teachers and students, and planning periods of Job Training for our students in Vocational Education.
The number of participating teachers will be two, and their training period of 5 days, if possible, will match the formative period of the students. The profile of the participants will be teaching staff in VET, with competence in foreign languages and involved in European projects.
The number of students will be four. The profile of participating students will be to be enroled in Vocational Education Intermediate, with the course materials approved to date May 31, with motivation and good attitudes to work, interested in providing European profile to their training.
The description of the activities and the methodology used to conduct the project are:
For staff:
Performing a previous work planning for the training period, scoring goals and specific tasks.
Moving the staff to the region of Mealhadas in Portugal. The accommodation is held in hotels near the work area
Insertion of teachers within the staff of the associated institution, so that they will participate in the activities of the company, knowing firsthand the methodology and techniques used in forestry and environmental conservation.
Collect data needed to develop customized training programs for students, as well as programming the Erasmus FCT, which should be reflected in the educational project of our center in later courses.
For students:
Making preparation for the training period, both linguistic and technical, as well as prior knowledge of the organization and the work area.
Moving the students to the region of Mealhadas in Portugal. The accommodation is held in hotels near the work area.
Insertion of students within the staff of the entity, so that they will participate in the activities of the company, knowing firsthand the methodology and techniques used in forestry and environmental conservation.
Collect data required for reporting on the training.
Results and expected impact as well as potential long-term benefits are as follows:
Promote the realization by our future students of Job Training periods in the coming years through the entities involved in these actions.
Exchange of experiences between the region of Granada Northwest and the region of Mealhadas in Portugal, by linking associations and organizations involved in local development.
Promote the employability of our students on the European labor market.
Provide European dimension to the formation of our students.
Share experiences with other professionals, to update theoretical and practical knowledge of forest issues.
In the medium term, training acquired by the teachers participating in this action, shared by all of the Department of Agrarian in our center, should directly impact the training offered to students.
