European Tandem:For 10 days YMCA France and Spain will bring together 12 young people (14 to 17 years ) from each country near the national parc d'Ordesa and the Pyrenees(Spain). We want to give a space for youth to learn and deepen their knowledge of French and Spanish by an interactive method: the tandem method. This non-formal learning method is based on reflection and preparation for young people before the exchange, they willexamine their characteristics and those of their country and how to present them to their french "Tandem". The program will contain: cooking workshops, linguistic animations, fun games, sports activities, in order to promote communication among participants. We will develop a creative approach to informal learning with artistic presentation means (photo, film, theater ...) and games (games teambuilding) meet the desires and needs of young people ... but also in connection with the subjects concerning: social problems such as poverty and unemployment. Young people identify the differences between countries to promote mutual understanding and identify the points they have in common with their European peers. The results of our work will be presentet during a conference at the end of our project in which we will invite local public figures, mayor, European deputies ...Following this project, participants will develop transferable skills that can be used throughout life
