Eugène Montel School, an industrial vocational school wishes to mobilize its staff and students to a European opening through a professional mobility in the European program ERASMUS+.For many years, the school has noticed that its students are reluctant to go beyond the frontier of their own country. Hence a major difficulty for them to pass their exam and get a job in the long term. This objective is part of its school project in its "Opening to the world which means promote, encourage openness and education to the world" for more mobility and openness of the students. The contract objectives are targeting this issue as a major lever. Civic and cultural dimension is also included. The school already has assets: a European section including a non-literarcy discipline with English skills. For this first European experience, the school has chosen a partnership with a vocational school in Croatia, and is accompanied by a French-Croatian expert. This program will last 24 months. The school is involved in two activities of the mobility program of EFP learners and staff. They will concern10 learners in the second year of the equivalent of Btech National in Boilermaking and Electrotechnics for a 3 weeks internship with 2 accompanying teachers. Students will sit for a mobility test to get the EUROMOBIPRO certificate. Mobility is also required for a staff in job shadowing situation focusing on the professional education system as well as practices and working conditions. The aim to this learning mobility is to increase their employability by more social skills and ability to be a European citizen. For the staff, it is to acquire a European opening dimension while creating anemulation to the whole educational community and developing common values. The development of the amount of mobility will be used to evaluate the project. We expect this European project supported by a majority of the educational community, to be an added value to the institution's image for an improved attractiveness. We will communicate with companies, educational and regional authorities through promotional events (receptions, forums ...), information on the Rector's website as well as on our website. We will also inform on our European involvement when taking part in promotional activities in middle schools in order to recruit schoolboys and schoolgirls..
