End date: Sep 30, 2018
PROJECT
FINISHED
The project aims to make up the deficiencies in training and clinical skills, resulting from busy work schedule, of orthopaedic and traumatology assistants who carry on their studies in Europe. In this regard, it is planned to have student mobility in Europe. In this process, it is planned to organize summer (basic)-winter(clinical) schools under the training programmes to be specified by the project partners, workshops and offer online training programmes online through the official project website. It is envisaged that a total of 450 students will participate in training activities in the scope of student mobility programmes (summer-winter schools and workshops). The fact that several education institutions in Europe are either participants or trainers in this project will standardize orthopaedics and traumatology training in many aspects. All training materials used during the project are going to be printed in a book form at the end of the project, and a training CD is going to be created. In this way, it is expected that the project will carry on disseminating even after it has ended. The project will also contribute to the development of lots of interactions in terms of cultural and social matters. There will be dynamism between our country and Europe through student mobility. It is thought to carry out several new projects and works in education field as an outcome of mutual collaborations and interaction. This will allow opening of new study fields in many areas with this project.
