European reporter in Gagauzia/Moldavia”is a project intended to promote education, social protection of orphans, disabilited and socially vulnerable children of Gagauzian region of Moldova, re-socialization and reintegration into the comunity. It is an EVS project inwhich will take part three Spanish volunteers, who are high motivate in work with children and youths, some of them disabilited. The volunteers will work in the Miras Moldova organization realizing activities for develop citizenship, non formal capacities and diffusion of EVS. And this organization has a strong collaboration with Ciadir-Lunga Boarding School, which is a care institution for orpfans and disabled people. Here, local volunteers and European volunteers realizing activities for promote non formal education and for help in activities extra-curricular like sport at open air, visit museums, cultural activities, etc. The project aimed at covering the lack of information and promotion of the Gagauzian culture and traditions via a series of photo and video reportages which revealed to the national and international community the insights of the mostly unknown culture of an ethnic minority from Moldova, namely the Gagauzian minority. The fact that the project was focused on the culture of an ethnic minority but as well of the whole Moldovan society made all the beneficiaries of the project acknowledge the differences and differences within the Moldovan society as well as within the European community. Also, the fact that people from different social and cultural backgrounds interacted in the field of art undoubtedly fostered mutual understanding between young people as art is the easiest way to erase all cultural and social barriers. Thus the project directly promoted tolerance and developed solidarity among young people. The ways to cooperate at European level within the European civil society was exemplified, made public and when possible explained in detail by all the participants in the project, both volunteers and staff responsible for its implementation. What the volunteer could learn: the young volunteer could gain great experience by making different reports about culture and language of Gagauzia Project Duration- 7 months During the project our volunteer had a chance to work with initiative youth for creation of the Spanish Club in “Miras-Moldova” association and possibility to create his own projects. One of the projects which Alvaro Palomo organized was “Humans of Gagauzia”. The main goal of this journalistic project was to find interesting people in Gagauzia and to reveal the story of their lives to our society. Alvaro initiated the given project, collected material and now the project is being prepared for publishing. Moreover, our volunteer managed to organize a trip for children with disabilities to the ZooClub (village Bardar,near Chsisinau), participated and organized different workshops at schools (recycling projects)
