The project establishes the basis of a lifelong learning cross-border program for teachers, which ensures joint development of skills and knowledge of those who work in the field of education.The specific objectives are the following: (1). Creation of a cross-border system of new educational facilities for teachers in domains that are traditionally part of the curriculum; (2). Development of a team of 40 Hungarian and Romanian university teachers and mentors, to continuously train the school teachers from their area; (3) Development of the professional competences of about 310 teachers in the newly introduced fields.The main activities of the project are linked to preparation of materials for each skills development training, training for the nursery, primary, secondary and high school teachers of the target counties, improvement program for 40 experts - 20 teachers and 20 mentors from the project partners (trainings), as well as development of a joint, cross-border cooperation plan aiming to improve the education system of this region.The direct beneficiaries of the project are 20 university teachers and 20 mentors from the 2 cross-border regions as well as 310 teachers from cross-border schools. The indirect beneficiaries are the 2 communities of the target cross-border regions who will benefit from the project results.
