Start date: Oct 1, 2007,
The primary purpose of the project is to promote the objectives and results of EIPEN, a transnational network developed with funding from the Leonardo da Vinci Community Action Programme 2005 to 2007. The secondary purpose of the application is to enable the transition from a transnational network to a European network with a particular focus for developing quality assurance in interprofessional education in health and social care. The impact of the project will be: Health and Social care professionals use the network for resources and inspiration with regard to the Principles and Practice of IPE; Learning organisations become stronger in Health and Social care through improved team working, devolved responsibilities and flattening hierarchies; EIPEN is known and respected across more European Member States; Patients and clients ultimately receive better care.
