"European folk variations under Polish Sky" project will be performed by members of Association of Fans of Folk Culture FOLKIER and by their partners from Armenia, Georgia, Macedonia and Italy. The main purpose of the project is to turn young people on to folk culture, drive them into intergenerational interactions and develop skills: working in a group, intercultural communication and manual skills of each participants. In the project 35 young people form 5 countries will take a part. Participants are young people in the age of 18-25 years old, volunteers, active activist and friends of our organizations, who especially are interest in our themes. Activities that we will conduct are directly associated with cognizing our folk cultures and national traditions. As an example we can indicate handcraft and folk dance workshops, teambuilding, trip to open-air museum to cognize places and communities that have built polish folk culture years ago, Folk Picnic and more. During our exchange we will work with project methodology. We wish work in organize and systematic way, in the aim of high quality of our activities. Thanks to our project, young people from different countries will know their cultures, will interest in social working, and then they will disseminate information about chances that United Europe give their peers from their countries. What is more, they will know polish handcraft, they will know polish folk dances and they will get to know a lot of nice people. Thereupon our project new friendships between participants and organizations will be related. We hope that we will be working together in future.
