The partnership is formed by four secondary schools from Spain, France, Poland and Wales. Our project is about environment and energy saving and its title is European Environment Ambassadors, E²A. We want the pupils to become more aware of this essential issue, to promote “green living”. We would like them to build a European strategy to propose solutions for one another. It would enable them to understand the eco-problems of the other countries. They are the future citizens of Europe, and therefore will have to act and, maybe they will influence the way people deal with environmental issues.The first step will be for the pupils to improve their everyday actions at school and at home and share this with their European schoolmates. They will also work collaboratively, crossing borders, by using the collaborative tools made available on the Wide Minds Moodle platform, which we shall be using on a regular basis to make all the productions available.Our students will not only improve their ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) and language skills but will also be able to develop international relations. They will gain experience and understanding of other European cultures and a sense of ownership of the project, ie; tasks should be encouraged by teachers but should be pupil-led.
