Overall objective:Decreasing the level of infant (up to 1 year) mortality and infant disablement on cross-border territory of Hungary and Ukraine.Specific objectives:1. To increase the percentage of infants’ recovery at children’s hospitals; 2. To decrease the level of postnatal infectious diseases of infants; and3. To decrease percentage of infants’ birth traumas and anoxaemia of cerebrum. Main activities:1.1.1. Improving of the material and technical provision of children’s hospitals; 1.1.2. Increasing the level of qualification in diagnostics issues of medical staff; 2.1.1. Increasing the level of qualification in nursing care issues of the staff of children’s hospitals; 3.1.1. Increasing the level of knowledge of maternity hospitals’ staff what regards to definition of the state of health and proper medical treatment of infants; and 4.1.1. Project management and publicizing the results. Expected Results: 1.1. The diagnostics of infant’s state of health is of qualitative level;2.1. The standards of patients’ nursing care from the side of staff are increased; and3.1. The reacting of the maternity hospitals’ staff to the critical infants’ state of health is in time and adequate.
