EUCIDA an interactive virtual community of digital artists and cultural workers (DACW) connected to imagine new ways of artistic mobility, to use technologies as a vector, to augment the sharing of experience, creative practice & professional opportunities transnationally both for artists & new publics in physical & real spaces. The project aims at safeguarding & promoting European cultural & linguistic diversity by building a European network of DACW capable of using mobility as a driver for a smarter, more sustainable & inclusive growth. EUCIDA will be accessible to a non-arts audience, and bring a wider EU public debate on arts & technology by with a program of ambitious & unique experience. Mobility will be used to:Support capacity of European cultural & creative sectors operate transnationally & internationally through virtual mobility;Develop parallel interactive exhibition where artists & audiences can be in different physical or virtual places;Use virtual channels in the creative process, enabling co-production of work by DACW in different geographical locationsProvide new networking options for digital arts ie training, delivery, exchange;Promote transnational mobility in particular DACW;Parallel residency as the vehicle of cultural & linguistic diversity;Mobility Visit to be interdisciplinary in nature, support of the mobility of people & cross border circulation of creative practice Contribute to audience development by testing innovative approaches of engagement, enlargement & retention tailoring the creative process to specific target groups:Circulation of artworks will be co-produced by project partners through professional opportunity for DACW;Build sustainability through innovative communication & dissemination practices;Benchmarking, research, share best practice in field of mobilityActive involvement of general publics in using new digital technology and new marketing tools.
