EUROPEAN CIVIL REGISTRY NETWORK (ECRN)

Description Electronic exchange of Civil Act certificates across national bordersDue to the growing number of European citizens living in countries different from their countries of origin, cooperation regarding the Civil Acts has today become a high priority for National administrations.The ECRN project will establish a secure and certified electronic infrastructure that will allow Civil Acts Registrars in different countries to exchange information on Civil Act certificates (birth, death, marriage, divorce).The pilot will start with four pilot sites in four different countries ( Italy, Belgium Germany and the Nederlands)
