This project aims to create an awareness-raising of young people on migration issues in parallel to the priorities of "European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion -2010". Our AIM is to establish a youth exchange on three vital concepts of Europe: Assimilation, Integration and Migration. We will talk about how to integrate immigrants coming from other countries without assimilating their fundamental characteristics, such as religion, culture and so on. In the globalized world where the mobilization of people is an essential problem, it is important for youth to be aware of how to deal with challenges related to immigration. Thus, we will talk about our countries' immigration policies in addition to understand how immigrants feel and experience. We will try to conclude with a general youth declaration on our AIM (Assimilation, Integration and Migration). The youth exchange will include Italy, Turkey, Spain, Czech Republic and Slovenia (five participants and one leader per country) and it will be held in seven days in Magenta. The major method will be non-formal learning techniques and will include intercultural learning activities.
