PROJECT
FINISHED
The project ‘Europe's Got Talent’ is an 11-day international youth exchange which aims to tackle a problem of youth employability. The project will take place in June 20-30, 2016 on the Croatian coast in Rijeka. It brings together 36 participants from 6 European countries: Croatia, Bulgaria, Italy, Romania, Czech Republic and UK.The idea of the project is to support the young people to become the masters of their own lives. Nowadays in the world of endless opportunities on the one hand and society dictating and making terms on how to live and behave on the other hand young people can easily get lost, unable to identify themselves and find their vocation in life. The goal of the project is to gather young people and provide them with the opportunity to explore and get in touch with their inner wishes, dreams and talents. Not only will they get the opportunity to share their ideas and experience with others but learn a number of tools and techniques of how to bring out their talents, creativeness and uniqueness, become more self–aware, competitive and confident in terms of self-realization and thus more employable. We expect the participant to get empowered, see themselves as opportunities, take actions, making their own decision regarding their future and finding their own way in life.Supporting the idea of giving equal opportunities to everyone, ensuring diversity and gender balance, we look for young people aged 22-30 and will give preference to the candidates with fewer opportunities who currently experience difficulties to get employed and have a high level of motivation to participate. With the working method of learning by experience as a tool of non-formal education, the participants will be responsible for their own learning and encouraged to adopt a proactive attitude during the activities, and consequently – towards their life. Activities themselves involve role-playing, discussions, intercultural and media workshops, problem-solving and team-building tasks.
