The project "Europe's Future in Berlin" will introduce three volunteers from Ukraine, Armenia and Serbia for a period of 12 months to Bildung & Integration e.V. in Berlin. Following an orientation and intensive language learning phase, the volunteer service will be quite rich in variety and at various locations. One of the main places will be the Vocational Training Centre Charlottenburg -Wilmersdorf and the " Counseling Center " for migrants in the district of Spandau . The activities of the volunteers are diverse, ranging from the support of the staff in the implementation of social projects to the support of teachers and specialists in adult education for the training of job seekers and also to be of supportive assistance in the implementation of international youth meetings with youth groups from EU and neighboring partner countries. The most important aspect in the implementation of all projects and activities here is to share their experiences as well as an intercultural learning experience to offer the volunteers and the employees of education and integration. In addition, this project will help the perspective of Eastern European youth to access mobility and education programs so as to facilitate prejudice reduction, contributing to a better understanding between Eastern and Western Europe and to a more cosmopolitan and tolerant EU.
