Europe – Powered By Nature Energy is one of the most important themes for all mankind. Renewable and natural energies lead the way into the future. It is of utmost importance for the survival of our beautiful world that we change over to using new energies and technologies. We would like to face this challenge by studying the possibilities that the participating countries have to offer in this regard, which are wind, solar, water, geothermal and bio mass energy. In order to get to know different forms of new energies in Europe, we would like to visit each other’s countries in order to get authentic information from the respective experts. Getting this personal experience will equip us in the best way to then share these new ideas within our communities and be an inspiration for change in this so fundamentally important area of life. We are planning to stay connected with each other continually through creating an internet platform, exchange emails and stay in touch personally regularly. To cover all aspects of our topic, we would like to involve a variety of school subjects: Science and Technology (which includes Physics, Chemistry, Biology), Geography, English as a Foreign Language, New Media and Arts as well as Economy. In order to make the new technologies more visual and understandable for everybody on a deeper level, we plan to produce short films, power point presentations and models of the different types as well as posters of energy production. Additionally, it is important to us that everyone involved in this project will be able to participate on a personal and emotional level. For this reason, we plan to create a logo as well as the before mentioned internet platform and to facilitate an art competition. We are confident that through the usage of the global language of English we will be able to improve the knowledge of English and the communication skills of our students tremendously. We are proud to live in modern day united Europe and believe that we can strengthen the European spirit with this project in a very effective and relevant way.
