The "Europe - Our Future?" brought together 38 young people from the United Kingdom, Poland, the Czech Republic, Italy, Romania and Slovakia. The youth exchange was initiated by young people from various European countries. It aimed to react to a recent wave of Eurosceptic attitudes in many European countries. Its aim was to raise awareness of young people about how the European institutions work, what they do and how they influence our lives. This then formed the basis for discussions about current issues in Europe and the future of the European integration. The programme used methodology of non-formal education. It consisted of simulation games, discussions, presentations, active workshops in smaller groups, plenary sessions, etc. It was divided into three main parts: 1) Citizenship: activities aimed to discuss the topic of active citizenship, what it is and why is it important; 2) European Union: how it was created, how it works, how everybody can have an impact on the legislative process; 3) Future of Europe: visions of the Europe of the future.
