The Europastage project aims at creating a European model for the organisation and management of transnational placements. A particular focus will be upon developing the skills of individual tutors having a role the development of in-company placements. In addition to the development of the European model for the organisation and management of transnational placements, two CD-Rom will be produced, the first providing an overview of the different placement systems across the participating partner countries, the second providing a outline or model profile for involved professionals. With regard to dissemination, activities will include the development of a dedicated website, the publication of a project newsletter (in all partner languages) and the hosting of a series of local workshops and a final international project conference. Beneficiaries of the project include representatives of sectoral organisations, tutors, vocational and career counsellors, SME's, vocational training bodies and labour market policy & decision makers.
