„Europa Kształci Zawodowo II” was a VET mobility project, aimed at the learners of Zespół Szkół nr 3 im. Mikołaja Kopernika in Wieluń. The main recipients of the proposed activities were learners of the following professions: IT technician, trade specialist, hotel service specialist, hairdressers; in the school year of 2015/2016. The project provides for the mobility of 45 learners and the vocational training have been conducted in companies and hotels in Italy and Germany. The following specialities had their trainings as follows: - IT: 15 students took the practice in Italy, class III - 4 weeks practice (29.02.2016-25.03.2016); - trade specialist: 14 students took the practice in Italy, Class III - 4 weeks practice (29.02.2016-25.03.2016) - hotel service specialist: 6 students took practice in Italy, Class III - 4 weeks practice (29.02.2016-25.03.2016) - barber: 10 students took practice in Germany, class II and III - 3 weeks practice (9.11.2015- 27.11.2015) The project was a response to the needs of the current labor market in Poland and abroad. Employers expect candidates for the employees to have both broad theoretical knowledge and practical preparation for work on a particular position. For this reason, the quality of the practical component of education offered by the school is extremely important. The project showed the participants, as well as their families and friends, that mobility is not something you should be afraid of, and education both at school and informal is a key element required to secure good jobs. The project provided for a cycle of preparation activities prior to the departure of the participants – a pedagogical, cultural and linguistics courses. All courses were conducted by qualified and experienced trainers, which ensured a high level of education and the achievement of the goals (increase of linguistic and interpersonal competences). The project outcomes were widely disseminated, the school involved the local media, public benefit organisations, parents, the local government or representatives of local companies. At the end of the project participants received certificates confirming gained skills, like Europass Mobility, certificates from the partners, etc. Those documents will improve their competitiveness on the labour market. During the project a dissemination conference took place, during which included presenatiation all the results.
