The Project Erasmus plus KA1 "Europe: training and cooperation space" is a project developed by IES Alcarria Baja with which we seek to work in Europe and for Europe. Working in Europe and thus creating a space for training, understanding, exchanging of ideas and mobility of people ... wider, beyond the place, that teachers, students and the whole community in general see the opportunity of training and development of common strategies in the European framework where we can collaborate for the resolution of problems beyond cultural and linguistic boundaries. Multilingualism, ICT training, the observation of other ways of working are essential to help us face the new social and political dimension that arises. Working for Europe and this way creating a European dimension, bringing Europe closer to the citizens, educating in global citizenship, considering what identifies us and what distinguishes us, the richness of unity and diversity, community and singularity.
The training that is contemplated in the project has been selected to satisfy the needs and objectives we arise in our plan of European development and these objectives, in turn, seek to respond to a varied profile of teachers and ensure the project is open to all the teachers of the school. Therefore, we believe that the activities will develop our linguistic and multicultural skills (activities in different countries: Germany, Finland, France, Ireland, , Iceland, United Kingdom and Czech Republic), our methodological skills (CLIL, methodology of foreign languages and ICT courses), our professional skills (courses with high educational content, observation of other working practices, examples like that of Finland) and, of course, our European dimension through an experience from which we hope that its greatest impact is an opening outwards the outside and an Europeanization in the way of understanding our work. We set the challenge of developing an European citizenship and identity , we are aware that the education and training of professionals play a key role in their construction.
