The EUROLUDIX project (European Useful Recreational activities for Learning languages in Unity and Diversity Improving well being of students) is a project focused on inter cultural team work involving 7 European countries (Finland, France, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Romania,Greece). It lasted two years (2009-2011). Each country organised a sporting event with international mixed teams which combined sports / European culture / physical and mental health/environmental awareness. The special interest was the awareness of mental wellness among the young people and reducing stress at school work. Local, regional and national sporting organizations were also contacted . This project also promoted European mobility amongst participants (5 students from each country attended each meeting/involvement of Headmasters/ 2-4 staff in each meeting/). Exchanges of teachers also played a key role throughout this project and were used to assess the project at the end of the second year. An internet platform was also created to promote exchanges between the partners and to ensure a more efficient communication. Besides, A You Tube EUROLUDIX Channel gathered some videos to give value to the project.
