The main purpose of the House of Europe of Nîmes is to increase European awareness at a local and regional level. In this perspective, since several years, we have been involved in the development of mobility projects for the young people living in the Langiedoc-Roussillon region and more specifically in the departments of Gard and Lozère in order to empower and to lead them to inclusion. indeed, the opportunities of European mobility are quite restricted in this area. The acceess to the European mobility programss is not obvious et the unemployment rate is much higher than in the rest of the country. Yet, we are very awre of the positive impact of such an experience on the personal path of an individual. This allows an important reduction of unemplyment risk. Thanks to its network of VET centres and schools? We have been able to identify an important need in the area of VET mobility. As a VET structure, it has appeared natural for the House of Europe to continue its action toward European mobility by setting the project : Euroformation, the mobility for all. The objective of this project is to allow young people in VET, unemployed or freshly graduated from a VET school, to benefit from professional practice in another fountry of Europe. Such an experience will allow those who will benefit from it to develop their professional skills in their field of training or to discover another field of work. Then, they will be able to increase their linguistic and intercultural skills in the perspective of their professional inclusion and personal development.
