Project „ Eurobackyards 6” is dedicate for 10 volunteers form: 2 from Spain, 2 from Portuguese, 2 form Italy, 2 form Hungary and 2 from Germany. This project is a continuation of projects who were realized between 2011-2015 in Bydgoszcz. Eurobackyards 6 will be a short term project for 6 weeks. The theme of the project is a series of meetings cultural - educational and outdoor activities, which will be attended by European volunteers, together with national volunteers. During the active workshops and games with children and young people we want to promote a diverse culture of the European Union. Our aim is also to reduce language and cultural barriers, reduce stereotypes associated with foreign cultures, promote active leisure activities, and volunteering in general, especially international one. The task of the volunteers is to prepare and conduct meetings with children and young people on backyards. They will work in groups, with an emphasis on work in pairs preparing presentations on their cultures. Volunteers will prepare presentations, games and other activities. They will promote their national culture, their national history and geography and instill a sense of belonging to Europe.Working for local society is very important for this project. It is a essence of the project. Very important is innovative and creative, new ideas bring by volunteers. We are going to protect conditions for volunteers to develop their passions, skills, competences. We hope they will develop it in their future life, in personal, social and professional life.The result will be improve personal development, skills, knowledge about others culture, languages, European Union and brake stereotypes.
