Euro-gig youth exchange brings together 56 young people and leaders from Finland, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Spain, Ireland and Germany to get to know each other and different cultures. This youth exchange is organised in Kokkola 5-11.8.2016.We want to organize youth exchanges where we can perform together with other young people from different countries. We organize together a local concert, which allows us to introduce Europe through music and different cultures for local young people. We will also organize a live streeming, which enables the concert which can also be seen online, and also young people in other countries can follow the concert. The main objective of this youth exchange is to act as a meeting place for young people with different cultural backgrounds and use music as a tool in promoting tolerance. Natural learning takes place from each other in everyday life by being and doing things together.The project meets the objectives of the Erasmus + program as it promotes the participants' life-long learning skills, for example: developing young people's language skills, enlarges their view of the world, offers the opportunity to get to know new cultures and customs, and to learn to work together with people from different backgrounds.
