Euraphis III is a cross-border heritage promotion network. Since its creation in 1998, an increasing number of cities from the cross-border area have joined the network. Today, the partner cities work on the themes of light, elationship between man and heritage and water in the city. The project teaches residents about their heritage and encourages them to discover the heritage across the border. The partners also look for innovative ideas to promote the heritage, increase the touristic visibilityof the cross-border area, encourage short stays. Moreover, they attach great importance to a professional training of tourist and heritage staff and take action to create new jobs in the sector. Achievements: - 65,000 persons crossed the border to take part in 88 manifestations (events and entertainment activities);- 14 promotional spots of 30 seconds to be downloaded from the website;- creation of 3 permanent cross-border EURAPHIS spaces;- 475 press articl
