EU StartUp was a Training Course for youth workers that will be held in Pizzo (Calabria, Italy) and actively involved partners from: Portugal, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, Czech Republic and Latvia.of Initiative", crucial competence for start-up any type of company.Training contents was be focused on strat-up of companies and the development of the Key Competence "Entrepreneurship&Sense of Initiative", crucial competence for start-up any type of company. The European context of economic crisis is affecting the whole Europe and is negatively impacting especially youngsters, who have strong dofficulties in finding a job.Therefore, it was essential to promote the development of the 8 Key Competences among youngsters, and to share tools and best practices that can be successlly used by youth workers during their daily activities in non-formal context with the main aim to develop the 8 Key Competences.Among the 8 Key Competences, one is crucial to start-up a company, and it is the so-called "Entrepreneurship&Sense of Initiative", which is our focus topic-project.EU StartUp Training Course wanted to support the European Commission in promoting the Key Competence "Entrepreneurship&Sense of Initiative" among youngsters in order to increase their competitiveness and the competitiveness of the European Union in line with Europe 2020 strategy.The project highlighed the importance of entrepreneurial culture that is made up of way-of-thinking, way-of-acting, skills and competences that together create the so-called professional knowledge for youth workers that are called to support the development of their NGO in the acquisition of innovative tools in the youth field.
