Based on the research of European integration during and after the sovereign debt crisis, the project aims to carry out multi-disciplinary research concerning the issue under status quo. Economics, political and legal aspects will be examined and investigated. Also, an integrated multi-disciplinary teaching program, covering economy, politics and law, will be put forward. As a leading institute in EU studies, CES at Fudan University, based in Shanghai, will employ its rich teaching resources and experience, and geographic advantages, will radiate its influence over East China region, to create a network to promote excellence in teaching and research in EU studies.
