Ethical leadership in every day life

“Ethical leadership in everyday life” is youth exchange, planned for 8 days in Koktebel (Crimea, Ukraine) and offering some elements of life-skills training. It promotes commitment to live the positive changes one wants to initiate in society and to constantly reflect commonly held moral values while being in a leadership role. The project is developed for 25 young people from Ukraine, Georgia, Turkey, Germany and Poland, who are active in their society and looking for new methods and inspiration. Leadership—what does it mean for us? Why do so many young people follow the idea to be a leader and how many of them have really reflected on its meaning? What is the scale of leadership and what is especially important for nowadays and future leaders? How many types and approaches of leadership are there and is there the only one, which is right? Does leadership include some values and what does it have in common with the responsibility? All this questions will accompany the youth exchange in interactive methodical forms and motivate the participants reflect on their own behavior, motivation, principles and prescriptions. During the exchange we want do discuss leadership realities in our countries, to find the ways to follow our deep democratic convictions in every day life and to become an inwardly free person. Besides of exciting value discussions the course will also include sessions on communication and listening skills, teamwork and project management skills.
