Due to an increasing need in Europe for modernisation of the education and training systems, it is necessary to improve the quality of trainers and teachers. The aim of this project is to create a specific guidance for trainers called the Euro Trainers Coaching Service: a high quality online guidance service for trainers with a European dimension. This service, based on the principle of one-to-one virtual meeting between ET Coaches and trainers, will be implemented with dedicated support of videoconferencing over the Internet. The coach will guide trainers on competence achievement, help them to tailor learning issues to their context, observe their performance and give them professional feedback. The ETCS.FC major aim is to contribute to the creation of a Europe of Education and Training through a guidance service, which will increase the awareness of life long learning in a changing environment. The products of this project are an online environment in 10 European languages including 8 online courses and an in-class 3 days training course to develop coaching skills. Valorisation will focus on the distribution and dissemination of information using different channels like the project website, publications and dissemination networks.
