The exchange "And if we changed our eyes ... Avilen Misto" allows 24 French, Romanians and Roma young people to exchange, to share, to get to know and to recognize the other in its specificity and difference. This trip will take place from the 5th of July 2015 to the 19th of July 2015 in Sodomeni, a small and rural village belongs to the town of Pascani ROMANIA. This exchange is a bilateral project supported by two European partners, the association Gipsy Eye (Romania) association that fights for the inclusion of Roma in Romania and Apprentis d'Auteuil (France) Foundation specializes in hospitality, the education, training and integration of youth in difficulty. The purpose of the exchange is to foster interculturality, meeting each other. Living a Europe-wide experience will enable them to know other issues, to confront other realities, including the place of each of our two countries in Europe and also on the European reality of the population Roma especially children. This meeting will be through a common project and thread in intercultural and European exchange. Indeed, young people will be invested into the project "heart to heart" that the association Gipsy Eye leads daily with children's school Cosmesti. Their mission is to provide children from school educational activities, games and sports to boost investment, creativity, self-help youth. In this way they will face the reality of education of Roma children in Romania and therefore to understand the issues of the struggle of Gipsy Eye. The general objectives are: - Supporting adolescents in the knowledge of the other and intercultural exchange, including understanding Roma culture in the context of acccueil country. - Encourage personal opening for a better life in European society. - Enable young people (French-Romanian) to acquire know-how, knowledge-being and regain or strengthen the confidence in their abilities. The project will end by a restitution. The Roumanian partner will come to France to allow himself to know better about Apprentis d'Auteuil and its pratices. It is also a good opportunity to do an evaluation of the project, several months later.
