Pare Vitoria School requests a VET mobility project in this 2016 call, according to our quality and internationalization policy. With this project we want our VET students to acquire language skills and additional training, experience in European companies; we want them to meet new cultures and ways of working, suitable for their incorporation into the labour market. We consider a priority the need to analyse the learning outcomes of the studies taught in our centre with those obtained in European countries and to develop educational materials in common. The need for recognition of professional qualifications and labour mobility in Europe are a requirement to establish a credit system of training recognized and accepted by all countries Project partners countries have similar studies with level 3 and 4 of the EQF (European Qualifications Framework). Our main objective in the short term within the European Development Plan is to take advantage of the new implementation of the new curriculum for Technician of laboratory operations with which the training is expanded to 2 school years (2000 hours) and technical English is incorporated to broaden the types of mobility, incorporating the work placements for a period equal to the FCT (internships), and that these pupils in addition to achieving the before mentioned capabilities and competencies, will be able to validate the professional module. We want to strengthen the links between education and business, as well as improving the quality of training content. We will carry on this project together with our partner of a VET Center from HollandIn order to carry out the project students from the intermediate VET laboratory course will be selected to complete six mobilities. These students will undertake a period of training in the host member centre combined with an internship in companies from the Quality control and laboratory technicians sector. The selected students will be final year students and recent graduated students. The teachers participating in the project will be selected from those who teach in the VET cycles and the school board. The process of selection of candidates will be carried in a transparent and clear way, giving all teachers and students the opportunity to apply for the mobility.Erasmus Coordination Team, composed of the Director, the Erasmus coordinator, the VET coordinator, the counsellor and three selected teachers, will be responsible to inform and make the selection of the participants.Participation in this project will bring an improvement to our institution because it favours social cohesion as through these projects learning opportunities for students and teachers are increased and binds together the field of education / training with the labor market, the main objective of VET.Each partner will design the activities to undertake in the host school and the selected companies.Job shadowings and meetings will take place to establish the training agreement and learning programs, establishing a framework regarding learning outcomes in studies of each country.Teaching materials regarding professional qualifications and basic competencies acquired by students will be developed. The activities to be developed in the project will consist of students’ mobilities at the host school, where activities with other students will be done according to a plan set by the project partners.Previous agreements between the institutions will be necessary to establish cooperation. These agreements will set out the roles and responsibilities of the different parties and their commitment to the common quality criteria in the selection, preparation, reception and integration of participants in mobility. The student, from the beginning of the project, will be assigned two tutors, one from the origin centre and the other from the host school, who will be in continuous contact before, during and after the mobility to analyse, apply and disseminate the results. The tutor of the host school will support and guide students throughout the mobility. The tutor from the origin school will monitor the students’ progress via email, telephone and using the email, the phone, whatsapp and videoconferences. The mobilities carried out in this project, both students and teachers are vital in vocational training to prepare them for today's society and ensure future competitiveness and innovation in Europe. The impact we hope to achieve with this project is: to enter the center in the VET mobilities Technical Laboratory and improve the knowledge and teaching techniques to be applied in the classroom by teachers and establish ECVET points (for when it was implanted in Spain). Increase the prestige of the VET and raise awareness among students about the importance of continuing education in the EU.
